The 2022 American League Championship Series between the Yankees and Astros rolls on with Game 2 on Thursday evening at Minute Maid Park in Houston. First pitch is set for 7:37 p.m. ET as Houston leads the series 1-0 following a 4-2 victory in Game 1.

Houston is the -140 favorite (risk $140 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Yankees vs. Astros odds from Caesars sportsbook. New York is the +118 underdog and the over/under for total runs is set at 7 (see the latest lines for every game on our MLB odds page).

Before making any Yankees vs. Astros picks, you NEED to see the latest MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it entered the league championship round on a 20-13 roll on top-rated MLB money-line picks, returning more than $400. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model has factored in that the Yankees were in a tough spot in Game 1 with the quick turnaround following the Game 5 win in the ALDS. New York will send Luis Severino to the hill and he had a 7-3 record with a 3.18 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP during the regular season. Harrison Bader is the hot bat in the lineup right now as he's hit four home runs in the postseason. Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Rizzo are among the many hitters in New York's lineup who can clear the bases on any at-bat.

Houston, however, showed why it is the series favorite with the win in Game 1. With New York still fatigued from its extended series with Cleveland, the Astros have a great chance to bury the Yankees in a big series deficit. Framber Valdez is on the hill for Houston and he had a great regular season with a 17-6 record and a 2.82 ERA. Yuli Gurriel, Chas McCormick Jeremy Pena and Alex Bregman are all hitting over .275 in the postseason and Yordan Alvarez always has the potential to make a big impact.

Now, it has set its sights on Astros vs. Yankees. We can tell you the model is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks of your own.

So who wins Game 2 of Astros vs. Yankees? And which side of the money line has ALL the value? ... Join SportsLine right now to find out which side of the Yankees vs. Astros run line you should be all over on Wednesday, all from the model on a roll on MLB picks!
