The top world leagues get back to work this weekend after an international break. The English Premier League had some additional time off after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, but everyone is back in action this week. That includes the Manchester derby at Etihad Stadium, with Manchester City hosting Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday at 9 a.m. ET. Reigning league champion City could have an opportunity to move to the top of the table, as league leader Arsenal hosts Tottenham in a North London derby Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. The MLS is in the stretch run before the season ends next Sunday. Eight Eastern Conference teams are battling for the four playoff spots, and LAFC and the Philadelphia Union should be fighting to the end for the Supporters' Shield. They are tied on points with two games left. Spain's La Liga, France's Ligue 1, the German Bundesliga and Italy's Serie A are all among the leagues restarting this weekend before another break next month for the World Cup in Qatar.

Man City are a -320 favorite in the latest Manchester City vs. Manchester United odds at Caesars Sportsbook, with United a +800 underdog and a draw priced at +460. Arsenal are a -120 favorite in the Arsenal vs. Tottenham match, according to Caesars. (For complete soccer coverage and more expert picks, check out our soccer analysis pages

There are many other matches, and each one offers numerous options for bettors to cash in. The paydays can be even bigger if you combine your favorite picks into a parlay. Before you make any soccer picks or parlays, you really have to see what soccer expert Jim Holliman has to say.

Holliman has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and grew up with soccer in his blood. He played competitvely through high school and has been following the game closely since the 1970's heyday of the North American Soccer League. His interest has expanded worldwide, and his betting approach is centered on crunching the numbers, but he sees the whole field and relies on his instinct.

Holliman has scoured the soccer schedules for Oct. 1-3, and from the plethora of games he has honed in on four best bets. If you combine these four picks into a parlay, you could earn a payout of almost 11-1! The first matchup in the parlay doesn't start until Saturday at 8 a.m. ET, so there is plenty of time for you to make your soccer picks.

We can tell you that one of the picks Holliman loves is Both Teams to Score in Saturday's L.A. Galaxy vs. Real Salt Lake match. "The L.A. back line has been giving up tons of opportunities, as they have either had to rally in the second half or hold on for dear life," Holliman says. "The Galaxy have the superior talent, but Salt Lake could find more quality chances than they expect in this road matchup."

Holliman has three other picks in his parlay that would pay nearly 11-1, including a CONFIDENT play on a team he expects to get its first victory of the season. If you combine these picks into the four-leg parlay, you can cash in HUGE! You ABSOLUTELY need to see the expert's predictions before you lock in any soccer picks or parlays of your own.
