SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Friday's matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics welcome the Golden State Warriors to TD Garden for a high-profile matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Golden State is favored by 3.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 217 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page). Before making any Warriors vs. Celtics picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 9 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 44-20 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,000. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Warriors enter this game with the best record in the NBA. Golden State is a top-five team in both offensive and defensive efficiency, with outstanding numbers on both ends. The Warriors are No. 2 in the NBA in shooting efficiency, with league-leading marks in assists and assist percentage on offense. Golden State leads the NBA in defensive rating (100.2) by a wide margin), with opponents shooting just 42.2 percent against the Warriors this season.

The model also knows the Celtics make inroads at the free throw line. Boston is No. 4 in the NBA in free-throw attempts, averaging 21.4 per game, and the Celtics lead the NBA in free-throw accuracy at 81.6 percent. The Celtics also take care of the ball, committing a turnover on only 13.8 percent of possessions, and the defense is strong. Opponents are scoring only 1.07 points per possession against Boston, with the Celtics allowing only 21.8 assists per game to the opposition this season.

Now, it has set its sights on Warriors vs. Celtics. We can tell you the model is leaning under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits has all of the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
