Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori will meet in a light heavyweight bout Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas. The main card is set for 4 p.m. from the Apex facility in Las Vegas.

Both Costa (13-1) and Vettori (17-5-1) are recent title challengers at middleweight (185 pounds) and both came up short against champion Israel Adesanya. They were scheduled to meet in an important showdown for the division Saturday, but the second-ranked Costa showed up to Las Vegas nearly 30 pounds past the middleweight limit and informed the promotion he couldn't make the middleweight limit.

Eventually, the second-ranked Costa and fifth-ranked Vettori agreed to a light heavyweight (205 pounds), 20 pounds over the original contracted limit, to save the main event of UFC Fight Night.
