Monday's NBA action will be on the lighter side, as only four games will tip-off between 7 and 9 p.m. ET. There are plenty of ideal matchups that fantasy managers should keep track of. We've picked out a few that stand out ahead of the main slate and split them into three tiers.

Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent over a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Two of his favorite three plays from Thursday were top six performers on DraftKings. Last Friday, he highlighted the Magic's Jalen Suggs, and the rookie point guard did not disappoint. He tallied 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists to return more than 9X value. Now, Ameer has turned his attention to Monday's four-game slate.

One play Ameer loves: Cam Johnson. "Phoenix's backup stretch four appears to be in line for a start on Monday. Joe Crowder is out with a wrist injury, so Johnson has a chance to be the main slate's top value play. He's started in all six of the games Crowder has missed this season and put up a promising 17.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.7 made threes per contest in those outings." Ameer says about the matchup.
