What was supposed to be a nine-game Wednesday slate is already shaping up to be interesting. The matchup between the Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons has been postponed due to inclement weather that prevented Detroit from flying out of Dallas. There are still eight games on tap, though, and we've combed over them to identify a strong pair of stud and mid-tier plays on DraftKings ahead of lock.

Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS more than four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Now he's looking at a pair of stud and mid-tier plays for Wednesday.

One play Ameer loves: Eric Gordon at $5,300. "Kevin Porter Jr. (foot) and Jalen Green (illness) will miss Wednesday's game, so fantasy manager will get more of point guard Gordon. While the Houston Rocket wing has flown under the radar this year, he's logged at least 30 minutes and scored 24 points in both of the games he's played in without Green this season," Ameer said about the matchup.
