MLB parlay picks for July 4: SportsLine expert offers his picks, predictions for Friday's games
Eric Cohen offers a four-leg MLB Same Game Parlay Plus for the games on Independence Day, July 4th
In my unofficial ranking of American holidays, July 4th usually comes in second behind Thanksgiving. It's extremely hot in Arizona where I live, and there's no football on, so Independence Day pales in comparison to late-November. But I'll take good fireworks any day and PS, make sure to have the right playlist to sync to the fireworks. It absolutely adds to the experience. With that said, I'm also in desperate times, desperate measures mode for my parlay. Can Independence Day snap me out of this funk (2-2 last night, with the Brewers picks missing by only one each)?
Friday, July 4th MLB SGPx
- Kyle Tucker 2+ H+R+RBI + Pete Crow-Armstrong 2+ H+R+RBI (+112)
- Chandler Simpson 1+ Hits + 1+ Stolen Bases (+198)
- SGPx odds: +531 (odds subject to change)
Kyle Tucker 2+ H+R+RBI + Pete Crow-Armstrong 2+ H+R+RBI
Cardinals right hander Miles Mikolas had a 6.58 ERA in June and now faces a suddenly hot Cubs team that has won 4 of its last 5 games. Mikolas has surrendered a .277 batting average to lefties this season and as a matter of fact, the Cubs boast two of the best in the NL in All-Star game starters Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong. Tucker is 2-for-3 lifetime vs. Mikolas and PCA is 3-for-4 with two home runs. The over-under in this game is 10. Let's not overthink this one.
