World class thoroughbred racing takes place at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Ky., and on Saturday the late Pick 4 begins with Race 8 at 5:09 p.m. ET and ends with Race 11. Before you make any picks, you NEED to know how racing insider and accomplished horseplayer Bob Weir has handicapped the four-race sequence. (Check out all of SportsLine's horse racing coverage.)

Saratoga Springs-based racing insider and Beyer Speed Figure maker Bob Weir has studied the races and formulated a Pick ticket in his analysis below. A two-time qualifier for the prestigious National Horseplayers Championship in Las Vegas, Weir has produced multiple five-figure days at the track over the years, including a $60,000 Pick 6 at Del Mar in 2014. This year, he has crushed the 3-year-old races. He hit the exacta in the Sam F. Davis Stakes, Tampa Bay Derby and Peter Pan Stakes, the trifecta in the Risen Star Stakes and Blue Grass Stakes and the superfecta in the Belmont Stakes. Those are just some of his scores in 2021.

Weir has handicapped the late Pick 4 at Kentucky Downs for Saturday, made his picks and constructed his tickets.

We can tell you that Weir is high on Point Me By, the 7-2 favorite in the Franklin-Simpson Stakes, the third leg of the Pick 4. "A 3-year-old, Point Me By has improved with every race and exits his best yet, a Grade 1 win at Arlington Park," Weir tells SportsLine. Point Me By is Weir's top pick in the Flower Bowl and a single A horse on his Pick 4 tickets.

In addition, Weir's top pick in two of the races is a double-digit long shot! Weir says one of these horses has "some pace ability" and could spice up the Pick 4. Weir is including these long shots on his tickets, and so should you. You NEED to see Weir's analysis before making any Pick 4 selections.

So which double-digit long shots can win? And how has Weir constructed his Pick 4 tickets? ... Join SportsLine now to get late Pick 4 selections at Kentucky Downs for Saturday, all from the racing insider who has been on fire!
