Horse racing expert reveals 2019 Fleur de Lis leaderboard

Horse racing insider Richard Eng, famous for getting Justify at 100-1 odds well before last year's Kentucky Derby, is fresh off picking the top two horses at the Belmont. Now he's revealing his leaderboard and his picks for Saturday's prime time race at Churchill Downs.

Six of the nation's premier fillys visit Churchill Downs on Saturday night for the 2019 Fleur de Lis Handicap. The winner gets an automatic bid into the Breeders' Cup Distaff, and the race goes to post under the lights at 9:12 p.m. ET. Three horses are at 2-1 Fleur de Lis odds or lower, including morning line favorite Elate (8-5).

With so many even contenders and several high-level darkhorses to choose from, you NEED to hear what legendary horse racing handicapper Richard Eng has to say before placing any 2019 Fleur de Lis picks of your own.

Eng was the turf editor and handicapper for the Las Vegas Review-Journal for 20 years and literally wrote the book on wagering on the sport. In fact, he was the author of "Betting on Horse Racing for Dummies," the preeminent book for newcomers. Prior to his work for the Review-Journal, Eng worked as a publicist for the New York Racing Association, Garden State Park, Monmouth Park, Santa Anita Park and Turfway Park.

To say that Eng was all-in on Justify early last year would be a massive understatement. He picked Justify when that horse was a HUGE 100-1 long shot in the Kentucky Derby Futures Book in January, before the horse made his racing debut. He picked Justify to win all three Triple Crown races, cashing big each time.

At the 2019 Belmont Stakes, Eng nailed the top-two horses, as Sir Winston surprised the field at 10-1 odds, with favorite Tacitus taking second. Anyone who has followed Eng's lead is WAY up.

Now, Eng has releasing his 2019 Fleur de Lis picks and full projected leaderboard.

One HUGE shocker: Eng says Blue Prize, one of the top Vegas favorites and a four-time winner, barely hits the board. But Blue Prize was upset by She's a Julie at the La Troienne Stakes at Churchill in May, her first race in six months, and Eng believes Blue Prize is due for another letdown. There are far better values than the 2-1 premium you'll need to pay for her.

However, Eng is all over an under-the-radar horse that Eng says hits the board HARD. This horse has all the tools to put together a complete run and win the Fleur de Lis. If the horse hits as Eng expects, you could be looking at a MASSIVE payday.
