Third place in the Ivy League will be at stake when the Harvard Crimson host the Penn Quakers in a key conference game on Friday at Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, Mass. The Quakers (7-12, 4-2 Ivy League) enter the game in third place in the conference, 1½ games behind Ivy-leading Princeton. Meanwhile the Crimson (10-6, 2-2) are in fourth place in the league, one game behind Penn.

Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. ET. The Crimson are favored by 3.5 points in the latest Harvard vs. Penn odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over/Under for total points scored is 139. (See up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page.)

Before making any Penn vs. Harvard picks, be sure to check out what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. It enters Week 12 of the season with a 49-36 record on all top-rated college basketball picks, returning almost $700. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of $2,800 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows that Harvard has been winning the turnover battle all season. The Crimson force 16.2 turnovers per game, which leads the Ivy League and ranks 29th in the country. That has helped Harvard lead the conference and rank 23rd in the nation in turnover margin (4.1 per game).

The model also knows that Penn sophomore Jordan Dingle is coming off a career game. The son of former UMass star Dana Dingle, Jordan scored a career-high 31 points, including 18 in the second half, in Saturday's 79-68 victory over Yale. He made 12-of-16 shots from inside the arc in the game, and the performance helped him earn Ivy League Player of the Week.

Now, the model has set its sights on Harvard vs. Penn. We can tell you it is leaning Over the total, predicting a combined 146 points, and it also says one side of the spread covers in well over 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
