Saturday is Pegasus World Cup day at Gulfstream Park outside Miami, and the late Pick 4 begins with the Fred Hooper Stakes at 3:34 p.m. ET and ends with the Pegasus World Cup. Before making any Pick 4 picks, you'll want to hear what SportsLine senior writer Gene Menez has to say.

A former reporter and editor at Sports Illustrated, Menez covered an array of sports, including horse racing, for the magazine and its website for almost 14 years. Between 2010 and 2012, he served as SI's handicapper for the Triple Crown races and correctly predicted Super Saver to win the Kentucky Derby in 2010. In 2015, while writing for Sports on Earth, Menez accurately gave out the Kentucky Derby superfecta (American Pharoah, Firing Line, Dortmund and Frosted), which paid $1,268.20 for $2. Then in 2017, he tweeted out his Kentucky Derby picks, including Always Dreaming to win, and hit the Pick 4, which paid almost $6,900 on a $1 bet.

On Dec. 26, Menez hit the Pick 5 at Santa Anita Park for $798.70, and last week he hit the winner of the Lecomte Stakes for $172.50.

Now, Menez has handicapped the late Pick 4 at Gulfstream for Jan. 28, made his picks and formulated his bets.

We can tell you that Menez is high on Skippylongstocking, a 5-1 shot in the Pegasus World Cup, the final leg of the Pick 4. "He has been training forwardly for this race and should be even better on Saturday," Menez told SportsLine. Skippylongstocking is Menez's top pick in the Pegasus World Cup and an A horse on his Pick 4 tickets.

In addition, Menez is high on several double-digit longshots on Saturday! One of these longshots "has been training great in the mornings" and could spice up the Pick 4. Menez is using this longshot on his tickets, and so should you. You NEED to see his analysis before making any Pick 4 selections.

So which longshot can win? And how has Menez constructed his Pick 4 tickets? ... Join SportsLine now to get the Pick 4 selections at Fair Grounds for Saturday, all from the racing writer who hit the Pick 5 at Santa Anita on Dec. 26 and hit the winner of the Lecomte last week!
