Fantasy Baseball: Three undervalued outfielders in Week 22

The Fantasy baseball season is entering Week 22, and making the right calls this week can be the difference in winning a league or going home with nothing when the playoffs come around.

SportsLine data scientist Stephen Oh has simulated the entire Week 22 schedule, plus the rest of the season, 10,000 times and just revealed three outfielders who are way undervalued. These are players to consider plucking off the waiver wire, targeting in a trade, or putting in your starting lineup if you already have them on your roster.

Three undervalued outfielders for Week 22 of the Fantasy baseball season:

OF Willie Calhoun, Texas Rangers: Willie Calhoun is projected as the fifth-best OF next week but owned in just 57 percent of leagues. Calhoun hit his 11th home run of the season earlier this week and now has his highest home run total in any month this season with four long balls in 12 games. On the season, the 24-year-old is slashing .274/.321/.554 with 11 homers and 27 RBI in 168 plate appearances.

OF Nomar Mazara, Texas Rangers: Nomar Mazara is projected as the eighth-best OF next week but ranked 45th in start percentage. Mazara has been productive lately, posting a .360 average and 1.080 OPS with four homers, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over the last 15 games.

OF Hunter Pence, Texas Rangers: Hunter Pence is projected as the 13th-best OF next week but ranked 61 in start percentage. Pence now has 18 home runs and 55 RBI this season and has recorded a hit in three of his last four games.
