We're getting closer to the marquee bowl games but Thursday's matchups all deliver Power 5 teams and significant intrigue, including a matchup of ranked squads to end the night.

The Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl matches the 8-4 Minnesota Golden Gophers and the 7-5 Syracuse Orange. Caesars Sportsbook has Minnesota as a 10-point favorite with the over/under at 42. Orlando's Cheez-It Bowl pits the No. 13 Florida State Seminoles (9-3) against the Oklahoma Sooners (6-6) in a rematch of the 2001 BCS National Championship Game won by the Sooners. Caesars lists Florida State as a 9.5-point favorite with the total set at 66. Finally, in the Valero Alamo Bowl played in San Antonio, the No. 20 Texas Longhorns (8-4) face off against the No. 12 Washington Huskies. The Longhorns have been installed as a 3-point favorite by Caesars with the total at 67.5.

Before you submit your parlays for these games, check out what the SportsLine Projection Model and SportsLine college football analyst Eric Cohen recommend for Thursday's games.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $2,500 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

Cohen finished one game above .500 with his picks on the season, including an impressive 17-8 run over the final two weeks of the season. His SEC conference parlays generated more than 11 units of profit for bettors who followed his selections. Thus far this bowl season, he's off to an 10-8 start.

One of the bowl picks the model is high on: Washington +3 against Texas in the Alamo Bowl. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. needs 391 yards to lead the nation in passing yards and at the same time cement himself as a frontrunner on preseason watch lists for the 2023 Heisman Trophy.

Another prediction: Cohen is taking Oklahoma +9.5 in the Cheez-It Bowl. "I have a sneaky suspicion that coach Brent Venables gets OU to play hard in order to avoid a losing 6-7 record. I expect QB Dillon Gabriel to bomb away and hit a few big plays on the FSU secondary."

You ABSOLUTELY need to see their bowl parlays before locking in any of your own.
