Teams looking to rebound from a first-round loss meet when the Boise State Broncos face the Temple Owls in the second round of the 2021 Charleston Classic on Friday. Tipoff is set for noon ET from TD Arena in Charleston, S.C. Boise State is favored by five points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 134 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Boise State vs. Temple picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,100 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows that despite losing two of three to open the season, the Broncos are allowing just 60.3 points per game and have been within striking distance in every game. Redshirt senior guard Emmanuel Akot was on fire in the tournament opener against St. Bonaventure, scoring 24 points, while dishing out three assists. He leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game. Akot, a transfer from Arizona, appeared in 23 games last season for the Broncos with 10 starts, averaging 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

The model also knows the cold-shooting Owls hit just 35.8 percent of their shots, including 20 percent from 3-point range in the loss to Clemson in the tournament opener. Sophomore guard Khalif Battle, the team's leading scorer, was held to just four points in that game. He will look to rebound from that performance and is still averaging 17.3 points per game this season. Last year, Battle led the team in scoring at 15 points per game, while ranking second in rebounding at 6.4, and was named third-team All-American Athletic Conference. He scored a career-high 32 points against South Florida on Feb. 21.

Now, it has set its sights on Boise State vs. Temple. It is leaning Under on the total and it also says one side of the spread has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
