The Chicago Bears will hope to avoid their first 0-2 start since 2017 when they host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL schedule on Sunday. Kickoff from Soldier Field is set for 1 p.m. ET. Chicago is a 1.5-point favorite in the latest Bengals vs. Bears odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 44.5. (See the latest NFL lines for every game this week on our NFL odds page.)

Before making any Bears vs. Bengals picks of your own, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 2 of the 2021 season on an incredible 121-79 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP.

The model knows Chicago (0-1) struggled in its season-opener, as it allowed the game's first 13 points and never recovered in a 34-14 road loss against the Los Angeles Rams. Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton was sacked three times and intercepted once as he failed to throw a touchdown pass in his team debut. Running back David Montgomery was one of the few bright spots for the Bears, running for 108 yards and a TD on 16 carries.

The model also knows Cincinnati (1-0) squandered a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter at home against Minnesota in Week 1 but came away with a 27-24 overtime victory. Playing for the first time since tearing the ACL and MCL in his left knee in Week 11 of his 2020 rookie season, quarterback Joe Burrow completed 20-of-27 attempts for 261 yards and a pair of touchdowns. One of the scoring passes went to former LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase, who made five catches for 101 yards in his debut after being taken with the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Now, the model has set its sights on Bengals vs. Bears. We can tell you it is leaning Over, and it also says one side of the spread hits in nearly 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NFL picks.
