We probably get more questions about keepers than anything else during Fantasy baseball draft prep season. We can't answer all of them personally, but now we have another way to help you out. Introducing: The "Who Do I Keep" tool:
This is a downloadable, interactive tool that can help you pick your keepers for 2019, based on valuations from SportsLine's powerful model, as well as CBSSports.com's experts, Scott White and Heath Cummings. You can select up to 10 players to analyze, by either entering their name or using the dropdown box in each cell. Then you pick the round and pick they will cost you to keep them, like so:
Once you do that, the tool will automatically update for each player, telling you who SportsLine, Scott, and Heath think you should keep, as well as their consensus:
The higher the number, the better the keeper value ? and it's color coded to highlight your choice, too. Scott and Heath won't always agree with each other or the model, now you're getting three additional voices to help you make your choices. As you can see, Mike Trout in the first round edges out Miguel Andujar on the consensus, but he can't quite match Ronald Acuna's value as a fifth-round keeper. Trout is valuable, even at his typical cost, but Acuna might be 95 percent as good as Trout, and won't cost you as much as a keeper.
Let us take the guesswork out of those tough keeper decisions.
