Jody Demling has nailed eight of the last 13 Preakness Stakes winners, and last year touted Cloud Computing (12-1) as a long shot that could win -- which is precisely what happened.
Demling then said Tapwrit would edge Irish War Cry in the Belmont Stakes ? another winner. Demling also cashed trifecta and superfecta bets for SportsLine members, creating a monster Belmont payday in 2017.
Demling also nailed the Travers Stakes winner and hit the superfecta in the Breeders' Cup Classic! To open 2018, he nailed the 1-2 finish at the Pegasus World Cup. At the Louisiana Derby, Demling called Noble Indy winning over favorite My Boy Jack.
And at the Kentucky Derby, Demling hit his 10th straight Derby-Oaks double. That means he held a ticket with the winners of both races 10 straight years.
Anyone who follows Demling's advice is way, way up.
The Preakness is Saturday, but Pimlico Race Course has a huge Friday planned as well, with 14 races highlighted by the Pimlico Special. With six graded stakes winners, the Special is expected to be one of the top races of the entire weekend.
Demling has analyzed the nine-horse field of the Pimlico Special (3:43 p.m. ET post time) and released where he says every horse will finish.
We can tell you he's not on the bandwagon of Irish War Cry, the favorite at 3/1 who was a contender at last year's Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes, but comes into the Special having finished out of the money in three of four races.
Instead, Demling is high on a sleeper who's groomed for a track like Pimlico. He's including that horse in many of his exacta, trifecta and superfecta bets, all of which he's also sharing with SportsLine members.
