Shortly before the season opened, sportsbook BookMaker.eu revealed odds for which NFL quarterback would be benched first.
The co-leaders were Tom Savage and Blake Bortles, and those two faced off in Week 1. Bortles, who was highly erratic in the preseason, did enough with an 11-of-21 performance for 125 yards, a touchdown and no picks to stay on the field.

The Texans, meanwhile, were quick with the hook.
Savage was benched in favor of rookie Deshaun Watson after just one half. Watson led the only touchdown drive of the game for the Texans in a 29-7 loss to the Jaguars. Houston may not look back.
Who will be next? BookMaker.eu revealed updated odds for which quarterback will be benched next for non-injury purposes:
Mike Glennon +250 (wager $100 to gain $250)
Blake Bortles +280
Josh McCown +300
Tyrod Taylor +500
Jay Cutler +600
DeShone Kizer +1000
Trevor Siemian +2000
Sam Bradford +3000

PICK: Jacksonville's win highlighted its defense and Leonard Fournette more so than it showed Bortles' competency, so he'll remain on the hot seat indefinitely.
But Josh McCown, who threw a pair of picks while leading the anemic Jets' offense in Week 1, is now the best bet to see the bench next.
McCown, at this point, is nothing more than a placeholder as the Jets try to figure out if Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty or a quarterback in the 2018 draft is the long-term answer.
