Carmelo Anthony trade talk is nothing new; speculation about his future with the Knicks has been swirling for months.
But the likelihood of the deal happening -- and the potential suitors -- have both shifted in the past weeks. As of two weeks ago, the Knicks remained the odds-on favorite to keep the 10-time All-Star, but those odds have now flipped.

Sportsbook BetOnline.Ag revealed updated odds for where Anthony will be for the first regular-season game of the 2017-18 season:
Houston Rockets -130 (Wager $130 to gain $100)
New York Knicks +275 (Wager $100 to gain $275)
Cleveland Cavaliers +600
Portland Trail Blazers +1400
Field (any other team) +1200
Houston is now a substantial favorite as reports have surfaced that Anthony is focusing on a deal with the team that brought in Chris Paul in an effort to compete with the Warriors and Spurs.
Staying with the Knicks remains a possibility. Cleveland is another potential destination as the Cavs figure out what to do with Kyrie Irving, who has requested a trade.
Anthony isn't the player he was in his prime, but coming off a season where he averaged 22.4 points and 5.9 rebounds, he could still help a contender in 2017-18.
