North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky, Clemson's Deshaun Watson, Texas Tech's Pat Mahomes, and Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer could all be first-round picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.
CBS SPORTS: TOP NFL DRAFT QB PROSPECTS
Odds say at least one of them is a stone-cold lock.
According to odds from BookMaker.eu, Trubisky is a monstrous -750 favorite to be selected in the first round. That means you'd need to wager $750 just to win $100.
Trubisky, whom the Cleveland Browns and reportedly mulling with the No. 1 overall pick, holds Tar Heel single-season records for touchdowns (30) and yards (3,748). The knock against him: he only started for a year.
According to Ryan Wilson, Browns coach Hue Jackson reportedly prefers Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett over Trubisky for the No. 1 pick. The pick could also be traded before the draft even starts.
Trubisky is 3/2 to be drafted by the New York Jets.
Watson made it all the way to the national championship game against Alabama last season and hit Hunter Renfrow with a TD pass with one second left to win it all.
Watson is even money to be selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, according to BookMaker.eu.
He's a -130 favorite to go in round two, meaning you'd wager $130 to win $100. He's 3/1 to go in the third round or later.
During his throwing day at the NFL Combine, CBS Sports' Rob Rang called Watson "the best player on the field." He is fresh off a two-day visit with the Houston Texans, who draft 25th.
Watson faced Alabama in the championship game twice and responded with 825 yards, seven TDs and only one pick.
Mahomes led all FBS quarterbacks with 393 yards of total offense per game in 2015 and threw for 36 scores. Last year, he led all FBS players with 421 passing yards per game and had 41 touchdowns.
The Texas Tech product has a cannon for an arm and he's one of only two players in FBS history to account for 5,000+ yards of total offense twice in a career (Case Keenum).
BookMaker.eu says that Mahomes is a slight +125 underdog to go in the first round and a -150 favorite to hear his name called during round two.
He is +225 to go in the third round or later, meaning you'd make $225 from a $100 bet.
Kizer is the long shot of the top four quarterbacks available, but Walter Football lists him as the second-best prospect.
According to CBS Sports insider Jason La Canfora, "Kizer might just slip out of the [first] round entirely, with execs not sold on his attitude and maturity."
Irish head coach Brian Kelly told SiriusXM that Kizer should have remained in school rather than forgo his final two years of eligibility.
"DeShone Kizer has a strong arm and is physically gifted. I think he has all the tools but needs time," Kelly said.
Kizer is 3/2 to be drafted in the first round. He is a -125 favorite to go off the board in the second.
