North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky could be the first quarterback taken in the upcoming NFL Draft.
He had a school-record 30 passing TDs last season, his only full season as a starter, and nearly topped 4,000 yards.
Plenty of NFL teams need starting quarterbacks, and Trubisky could be the cornerstone of a franchise for years to come. Odds say he'll be a first-round draft pick.
CBS SPORTS: BROWNS SPLIT ON TRUBISKY OR GARRETT
BookMaker.eu has released odds on which NFL team Trubisky will play for next season.
NEW YORK JETS: 3/2
The Jets have been linked to free agent QB Jay Cutler, but haven't pulled the trigger. They're coming off a season in which they were 26th in total yards per game (329.3) and 30th in points (17.2). The Jets have the sixth pick in April's draft.
ARIZONA CARDINALS: 5/2
The Cardinals will have Carson Palmer under center this season, but it could be the veteran's last. Trubisky could sit for a year in Arizona, learn from Palmer, master the offense, and take the reins in 2018. The Cardinals draft 13th.
CLEVELAND BROWNS: 5/1
The Browns waded through six quarterbacks last season and don't appear to have the long-term answer on their roster. They're reportedly debating between Trubisky and defensive end Myles Garrett at number one overall. They'll reportedly trade or release QB Brock Osweiler.
HOUSTON TEXANS: 15/2
The Texans were the front-runners for ex-Cowboys QB Tony Romo before he inked a broadcasting deal with CBS. Houston also traded Osweiler to the Browns. Houston drafts at number 25 and would likely need to move up to take Trubisky.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: 25/2
The 49ers already worked out Trubisky and will try to improve an offense that ranked 27th in points (19.3) and next-to-last in total yards (308.1). There are also questions regarding the future of RB Carlos Hyde. The 49ers could pounce on Trubisky at number two if the Browns take Garrett.
