The rumor mill has been swirling this week about the future of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.
"My understanding is that Richard Sherman initiated this," ESPN's Adam Schefter said. "He was looking to get out of Seattle. He was open to that idea. They're accommodating by listening to trade offers and they'll see what happens."

The price tag for Sherman is reportedly a steep one -- a quality player plus a high draft pick, and not every team can afford this exchange rate.
Whichever team lands Sherman will get a four-time Pro Bowler (2013 to 2016) who is widely considered one of the top players at his position.

He has 30 career interceptions, including eight apiece in 2012 and 2013. He's 29 years old.
BookMaker.eu has opened odds on Sherman's next destination, and odds are he won't be sticking around in Seattle. The Seahawks are just 8/1 to retain Sherman next season.
The favorite: The New Orleans Saints, who are +300 to land him. That means you'd win $300 from a $100 bet. The Saints have the last pick in the first round thanks to trading WR Brandin Cooks to the Patriots and could flip it to Seattle for Sherman.
According to Spotrac, Sherman has two years left on his deal: He'll earn $11.4 million this season and $11.0 million next season in base salary. He'll be a free agent after the 2018 season.
Although the Patriots reportedly aren't interested in Sherman, BookMaker.eu lists New England as a long shot (30/1) to acquire him.
