Mike McCoy, Chip Kelly on Hot Seat Ahead of Black Monday

Black Monday is almost upon us. SportsLine's Dan Cypra looks at which coaches could get the axe on the second day of 2017.

Black Monday is almost upon us. That's the day several NFL coaches typically get the axe.

To capitalize on the frenzy, BookMaker.eu just released odds on which coaches will still have their jobs come Week 1 of next season.

Will Hue Jackson be head coach of the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES -1200 (bet $1,200 to win $100)
NO +715 (bet $100 to win $715)

Jackson's Browns picked up their first win Saturday against the Chargers. Despite the team's dismal performance, Jackson is a heavy favorite to get a second year. His team needs an extreme makeover, starting at QB. Reports suggest the team is looking at New England's Jimmy Garoppolo. However, according to CBS Sports, the asking price could be steep.

Will Todd Bowles be head coach of the New York Jets in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES -250 (bet $250 to win $100)
NO +200 (bet $100 to win $200)

Bowles' status is more tenuous, but he's favored to stay in New York. Pro Football Talk reported Wednesday that Brandon Marshall and Sheldon Richardson agree he should stay, but this is another team in need of a QB. Perhaps the Jets can land Tony Romo in the off-season. 247Sports reported that Bowles won't be canned in the off-season, but it's still early.

Will Mike McCoy be head coach of the Chargers in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES +195 (bet $100 to win $195)
NO -250 (bet $250 to win $100)

McCoy is expected to be axed. After starting the season with a string of close losses, the team stabilized, then imploded. San Diego (5-10) just gave the Browns their first win. The only thing that could save McCoy is if management blames the injury epidemic that savaged the offense.

Will Marvin Lewis be head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES -375 (bet $375 to win $100)
NO +305 (bet $100 to win $305)

Lewis appears safe. In fact, if he's going anywhere, it's because he'd retire. ESPN reported on Tuesday that Lewis plans to return to the Bengals in 2017 despite a 5-9-1 record this year. AJ Green, Tyler Eifert, and Giovani Bernard have all been banged up this year.

Will Chip Kelly be head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES +170 (bet $100 to win $170)
NO -200 (bet $200 to win $100)

At 2-13, the 49ers have been an unmitigated disaster. From controversy surrounding their quarterback to questions about the team's effort after halftime, San Francisco is in turmoil. Kelly is almost a 2/1 underdog to return.

Will John Fox be head coach of the Chicago Bears in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES -650 (bet $650 to win $100)
NO +425 (bet $100 to win $425)

The Bears are 3-12 and have lost six of their last seven. Matt Barkley is not the answer at quarterback, but Fox is a heavy favorite to return as there's no question the Bears play hard. The team will move on from Jay Cutler and build around its young defensive talent.

Will Sean Payton be head coach of the New Orleans Saints in Week 1 of 2017-18 NFL regular season?

YES -140 (bet $140 to win $100)
NO +120 (bet $100 to win $120)

CBS Sports reports Payton could be traded in the off-season, and Fox Sports says the Rams are interested in coaches who are still under contract. The odds of Payton returning to the Big Easy are about even. He's led the Saints since 2006, winning a Super Bowl following the 2009 season.
