2025 WM Phoenix Open odds, predictions: Best bets to make for WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale
After an eventful week at Pebble Beach, the PGA Tour heads to Scottsdale, Arizona for the greenest show on grass: the 2025 WM Phoenix Open. Long hailed as the biggest party in the sport, the WM Phoenix Open will welcome a full field to TPC Scottsdale as it plays appetizer to Sunday's big game in New Orleans.
Leading the way is the best game hunter in golf—Scottie Scheffler. A winner of this event in two of the last three seasons, the world No. 1 has made TPC Scottsdale bend to his will after capturing his first-ever PGA Tour title here in a playoff in 2022.
Scheffler returned from injury last week at Pebble Beach and looked much like his normal self. The three-time reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year finished inside the top 10 and ranked first in the field in strokes gained approach. He lost a number of drives to the right and was sloppy around the green. With the rust knocked off, though, expect Scheffler to contend for his third tournament title this weekend.
Joining Scheffler are players like Sam Burns, Justin Thomas and Sungjae Im, who all look to break winless droughts of their own. Hideki Matsuyama aims to raise the trophy at TPC Scottsdale once again, with other notables like Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Tom Kim, Sahith Theegala and Rickie Fowler rounding out the action.
