The 2022 Wells Fargo Championship tees off Thursday, and Rory McIlroy will come in on a high as he tries to defend his title. The event will be played this year at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, Md., as Quail Hollow will be hosting the Presidents Cup in September and is unavailable. McIlroy, who shot 10 under par to edge Abraham Ancer by one stroke last year in Charlotte, comes in off a final-round 64 to finish as runner-up at the Masters in his last outing.

McIlroy is the clear 8-1 favorite in the latest 2022 Wells Fargo Championship golf odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Corey Conners is the next choice at 20-1, followed by Tony Finau (22-1), Matt Fitzpatrick (22-1) and Abraham Ancer (28-1).
