The 2022 FedEx Cup playoffs commence on Thursday when 120 players tee off in the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis. The top 70 players after this week's tournament will qualify for the second leg of the playoffs, next week's BMW Championship. Rory McIlroy is the +2200 favorite to lead after the first round, while Scottie Scheffler is the +2800 second choice. Justin Thomas, Cameron Smith and Patrick Cantlay round out the top five choices, at +3000.
