With the golf season winding down, players will be scrambling for FedEx Cup points when the 2021 3M Open tees off Thursday at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minn. Many of the world's top players are recuperating from the British Open or preparing for the Olympics, so golfers on the fringe of the top 125 are eager to improve their chances of making the playoffs.

Dustin Johnson is the 15-2 favorite in the latest 2021 3M Open odds from William Hill Sportsbook, followed by Louis Oosthuizen (14-1) and Tony Finau (16-1). Before you lock in any of your Fantasy golf rankings or bet the 2021 3M Open, you MUST see what DFS fantasy expert Mike McClure has to say.

McClure is a DFS pro who has won almost $2 million, and he has been RED-HOT with his picks since the PGA Tour resumed last summer. In fact, his picks have brought in more than $10,500 since the June restart, bringing in profits at tournament after tournament.

At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure's best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. He was also all over Daniel Berger (+220) and Emiliano Grillo (+700) finishing inside the top 20. McClure's best bets netted over $2,200 at the Open Championship.

In addition, McClure's model was all over Jon Rahm's (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the weekend, but the model still projected him as the winner. And at the 2021 Masters, McClure nailed Rahm's (+250) top-five finish in his best bets, as well as Corey Conners' (+550) top-10 showing.

Now, McClure has ranked the top 30 golfers for the 2021 3M Open. We can tell you he likes Tony Finau's chances of finally getting that second tour win. The 31-year-old tied for 15th at the Open Championship last week, shooting a final-round 67, so he should carry some confidence. He has finished in the top 10 seven times this season, including the Masters and PGA, and has a pair of runner-ups. This field could give him a chance to break through!

On the other hand, McClure is fading Rickie Fowler, who is one of the most notable names in the field. The former tour rookie of the year is in the middle of a huge pack of players listed at around 40-1, but he doesn't even crack McClure's top 25! Name recognition and a depleted field might tempt you to make Fowler one of your Fantasy golf picks, but there are many other better options!

Instead, the DFS pro lists another long-shot who comes in at well over 30-1 among his top 10 picks! This veteran has been working his way back into form and gaining confidence, and this course should be a good fit for his approach. He could stun the field this week at TPC Twin Cities! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is and check out McClure's top picks before you bet the 2021 3M Open or enter any Fantasy golf picks.
