SportsLine recently held a 12-team Fantasy Football Experts Mock Draft in the Superflex format, and there were some surprising results.

Inaugural Fantasy Sports Writers Association Hall of Famer Scott Engel organized the draft, and he shares his commentary and insights on the most interesting picks. Engel is a four-time FSWA Award Winner and nine-time finalist, and has pulled off a three-peat in his prestigious New York City Fantasy Football League that includes other experts and high-stakes players.

This mock also includes top Fantasy analysts such as SportsLine's Jacob Gibbs, CBS Sports' Adam Aizer and Heath Cummings, Adam Ronis of Fantasy Alarm, and Anthony Aniano of RotoBaller.

One thing we can tell you: Despite the heightened emphasis on the quarterback position, running backs still were the most sought-after first round picks, with seven being taken in the first 12 overall. The top-seven QBs were still gone by the third round. But Ben Roethlisberger and Cam Newton may prove to be savvy picks in the later rounds. Both veterans could be primed for comeback seasons.

There were also a pair of running backs who stayed on the board much longer than in many standard leagues. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are, and get the complete results from this expert mock draft before going on the clock this year.
