We simulated the final round of the 2018 British Open 10,000 times and came up with a very surprising leaderboard. Our proprietary computer model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has called four of the last six majors heading into the weekend and was all over Jordan Spieth at the 2017 British Open from the start and called his third major victory with three rounds to play.
One huge surprise the model is calling for the final round of the British Open: Alex Noren, going off at 25-1 and four shots back, makes a serious run at the title. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.
The model has also identified three others going off at 20-1 or longer who will be contention until the end.
Will Tiger pull off his fourth major victory? Will Jordan Spieth repeat? And what leader struggles big-time? The model just made the call on who wins the Open Championship... Join SportsLine here to see who you can bank on to win the 2018 British Open and see which long shots make a run at the title, all from the model that's nailed four of the last six majors heading into the weekend.
