Host Allan Bell is joined by sports betting experts Micah Roberts, Jon "Buckets" Eimer and Andrew Gombas on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball, UFC 277, soccer and golf for Saturday, July 30.

The crew breaks down the betting trends and Saturday's schedule, and Buckets is fired up about cup soccer this weekend. Saturday's two biggest games pit the winners of top European leagues against teams that won their country's domestic cups. That means Liverpool vs. Manchester City in England's Community Shield (noon ET) and the German SuperCup matchup of RB Leipzig vs. Bayern Munich (2:30 p.m. ET).

Allan then kicks off the day's picks with the SportsLine Play of the Day, and it is an MLB pick. The site is backing the San Francisco Giants -130 against the Chicago Cubs (9:05 p.m. ET). The Giants are winning in 68 percent of the SportsLine Projection Model's simulations.

Buckets is all over the soccer, and his first play is Bayern Munich -110 in the DFL SuperCup matchup with Leipzig. Eimer admits to being a Bayern fan, but the 31-time Bundesliga champions have further transformed their roster for a run at an 11th straight title. "This team has spent the second-most money in the entire world on transfers this summer," he says, "only beaten by Barcelona." They are always tough to beat, and Buckets is banking on a win here.

Jon also is taking Over 2.5 goals (-145) in the Liverpool vs. Man City matchup. "These are two of the highest-scoring teams in the world," Buckets says, "and both just spent a ridiculous amount of money to acquire new attackers in (City's Erling) Haaland and (Liverpool's Darwin) Nunez. So we should see a lot of goals in this matchup."

Buckets also has a pick on the Austrian Bundesliga match between FC Sturm Graz and RB Salzburg (1:30 p.m. ET). He is going with Both Teams to Score (-125) and says these are "ridiculously good odds." Both teams have scored in their past five head-to-head matchups.

Gombas has been locked in on UFC 277, headlined by the rematch between Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes for the women's bantamweight title. Andrew's first pick is from the Joselyne Edwards vs. Ji Yeon Kim in a women's bantamweight preliminary bout. He is backing Edwards at -130, as she is moving down in weight while Kim is moving up a class. "I think Edwards' size is going to be too much here," Gombas says. "I think she's going to have a big power advantage over Kim."

The MMA expert also has a pick on the main event, and he is behind Pena +230 on the moneyline. Nunes is a -300 favorite, but Andrew says "I don't think that is low enough. I get why you make Amanda Nunes the favorite," as she has the early finishing power. But if it goes beyond the first round, Pena has the stamina and mental strength to prevail.

Jonathan Coachman is on PGA Tour duty and checks in with his Cash With The Coach picks. They are from the Rocket Mortgage Classic, where he is backing Cameron Young -125 over Russell Henley in a matchup play for the third round. "This dude is legit," Coach says of Young, who shot 9-under 63 on Friday and has six top-three finishes this season.

Coach also has a three-way parlay of third-round matchups in Detroit. He is combining Tony Finau over Taylor Pendrith, Patrick Cantlay over Si Woo Kim and Young over Henley for a parlay that would pay +344. If this play hits, Coach is going to send $100 to two lucky winners from the YouTube chat.

Micah wraps up the Saturday picks with his MLB play. He is on the red-hot Orioles -110 against the Reds (6:40 p.m. ET). Baltimore is 16-7 in July, while the Reds are 3-14 on Saturdays this year and 21-40 after a loss. The Cincinnati bullpen has been struggling and allowed four runs in the ninth Friday night as Baltimore won 6-2. "Just a horrendous bullpen," Micah says, "one of the worst in baseball."

Meanwhile, the Orioles are 6-2 in Dean Kremer's last eight starts, and the right-hander has been excellent on the road with a 1.66 ERA.
