Host Jonathan Coachman is joined by sports betting experts Chip Patterson, Emory Hunt and Allan Bell on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college football, MLB and golf for Friday, Sept. 23, as well as a strong college football plays for Saturday's slate.

Emory starts the picks with some college football by highlighting Jackson State vs. Mississippi Valley State. He's taking Jackson State -33 (-110) and Over 49 points (-110), expecting big things from Deion Sanders' team. Emory's also on Elon +6.5 (-110) against William & Mary, Indiana +16.5 (-110) against Cincinnati, and Kansas -7 (-110) against Duke.

Allan's looking at Boise State vs. UTEP. He's taking the Broncos Team Total Over 30.5 (-110). Boise State's never lost to UTEP, and the Broncos average 48 points in their games against the Miners. 

Coach then pivots to baseball. He's taking the Brewers -1.5 (-110) against the Reds. Coach is confident in Milwaukee starter Eric Lauer against a languishing Cincinnati squad. Coach is also playing the Braves on the moneyline (+140) over the Phillies. 

Coach is also playing some Presidents Cup action. He's parlaying the Jordan Speith/Justin Thomas pairing with the Patrick Cantlay/Xander Shauffle pairing at a +144 price. 

Chip takes the action back to college football. He's on Arkansas +2 over Texas A&M, and likes North Carolina to cover at -1.5 against Notre Dame. Chip says both A&M and Notre Dame don't have the right strengths to exploit Arkansas and UNC's weaknesses. He's also on Clemson -7 over Wake Forest. The Tigers have beaten the Deacons 13 times in a row. Chip's also taking Virginia Team Total Under 21.5 (-150) in Friday night's game against Syracuse. 

Emory jumps back in with two more college football picks -- South Carolina State +1.5 against North Carolina A&T and Washington State +6.5 against Oregon. He advises the audience that most popular sportsbooks will have FCS lines available on Saturday mornings.
