Today's picks: Why to take the Over on Titans' Week 3 total, plus more early NFL, ATP Metz and Serie A picks for Tuesday

Top betting experts Allan Bell, Mike McClure and Zack Cimini team up on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the NFL, ATP Metz and Serie A for Tuesday, Sept. 21.

The guys look back at the Monday night matchup between the Lions and Packers, and Allan then reveals some very unique early-season trends in the NFL. Mike is looking ahead to some very large spreads for Week 3. 

Allan shares the SportsLine Play of the Day from Serie A, which is to take both teams to score at -145 in Bologna-Genoa at 12:30 p.m. ET. Bologna may not come into this matchup with much confidence. 

Mike's ATP Metz pick is Ugo Humbert and Andy Murray to go Over 2.5 sets at +140. Murray's outlook all depends on how he feels physically, and Humbert's aggressive approach may lead to some errors. 

Zack leads off the early Week 3 NFL selections by going with the Panthers -7 over the Texans on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET. This is another favorable early-season matchup for Carolina, which is looking good on offense and even better on defense. The Texans historically have struggled mightily with rookie QBs guiding the offense. 

Allan is on the Titans to go Over 26.5 points when they face the Colts on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. "So we saw what the Titans did in Seattle last week, a lot of it came late in the fourth quarter, and a lot of that was Derrick Henry, and I'm not really counting on that," he says, focusing more on how Tennessee will continue to roll after losing in Week 1. "What I am counting on is that Mike Vrabel, historically when he bounces back, he bounces back hard, and they do it two weeks in a row. This Titans offense hasn't gotten started yet."  Allan says Tennessee's passing game is on the verge of busting out.
