Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Emory Hunt and Chip Patterson on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for college football, college basketball and the CFL. You can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.

Emory's got all sorts of college football plays, as usual. For Friday's action, he's taking USF +14 vs. Tulsa (9:00 p.m. ET). Emory expects the South Florida offense to show some fight against the Golden Hurricane. He's also playing San Diego State -14.5 vs. New Mexico (9:45 p.m ET). "New Mexico's offense just can't find the end zone consistently," Emory says.

Chip's into some college hoops action tonight. He's playing Illinois +3.5 vs. UCLA (9:30 p.m. ET). "I love Illinois' length right now," he says. "Everyone's got versatility... I think they can win the game."

Moving on to Saturday's action, Emory has some FCS picks. Once again, he's all over Fordham. He's taking Fordham -18 vs. Colgate (1:00 p.m. ET), again expecting the Rams to shellack the opposition. Emory's also on St. Thomas -4.5 vs. Butler (noon ET). He thinks the Tommies will get their tenth straight win.

Finally, Emory's taking Over 43.5 in the Soul Bowl - Alcorn State vs. Jackson State (3:00 p.m ET). "That game is going Over with Jackson State probably getting in the 40s themselves," he says.

Chip has four plays for Saturday. He likes Oklahoma State +7.5 vs. Oklahoma (7:30 p.m. ET). Chip thinks OK State's Mike Gundy has a big coaching edge, and that quarterback Spencer Sanders will be back for the game. He expects the Cowboys to show up big. Next, Chip is on Louisville -4 vs. NC State (3:30 p.m. ET). "The vibes are not good," he says of downward-trending NC State. He also expects the Cardinals to get QB Malik Cunningham back for Senior Day.

Chip's playing Under 44 in Wyoming vs Boise State (7:00 p.m. ET). There's 14 MPH winds expected in Laramie at game time, and the temperature will be down in the 20s. Those aren't exactly ideal conditions for offensive football. Finally, Chip's on UAB +15 vs. LSU (9:00 p.m. ET). He expects the Tigers to have their minds on the SEC Championship game, and that the Dragons will be able to cover the huge number.

Emory's got a few CFL Grey Cup (Sunday at 6:00) picks to close out the show. He's taking Toronto +5.5, Winnipeg's moneyline (-240), and Under 48 for the game. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are too good not to win, he says, but he expects the Argonauts to keep things close.

As always, if you want to mirror Emory's FCS plays, check your sportsbook of choice on Saturday morning around 11:00 a.m. EST. That's when the lines usually become available to the public.
