Coming off a 6-1 day, Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The team provides their favorite picks for the NCAA Tournament Championship Game, Major League Baseball and the NHL for Monday, April 5.

Mike makes sure we don't forget about the NBA, though, with a deluxe injury rundown. He has important info on the Nets, Cavaliers and several injuries in the Wizards-Raptors and Kings-Timberwolves matchups. Mike spotlights the plethora of players being held out in the Pistons-Thunder game, which has turned into a duel to see which team can tank faster. He also touches on the Mavericks.

The Coach serves up his two plays of the day in the NHL. He says the Oilers have been "good to us" recently, and he taking them at +110 over the Canadiens at 7 p.m. ET. He is also going with the Flyers +150 over the Bruins at 7 p.m. ET.

Mike readies us for Monday in MLB, recommending Cleveland -121 over Kansas City at 4:10 p.m. He wants to continue to target the Royals pitching and says the Cleveland bats are undervalued vs. lefties. He also is on the Astros +105 over the Angels at 9:38 p.m. ET. He has a take on the outlook of Shohei Ohtani that you simply cannot miss.

Larry is counting the minutes leading up to the Gonzaga-Baylor showdown at 9:20 p.m. ET. He sees the Bears' season ending with a disappointing result even though they won't go down easily. "I think it ends here. I just don't like the matchup," he says, and then further explains why he is siding with the Bulldogs at -4.5. "They don't let you take a lot of threes. They force you into the lane, into the mid-range or at the rim. We know Baylor is the best three point shooting team in the country. That's not what Gonzaga allows you to do." Larry adds that even the Baylor defense will not be able to handle the Bulldogs' cutting, movement and constant motion on offense. He adds one more key factor as to why Gonzaga will prevail. "I think down the stretch, Gonzaga is a better free throw shooting team." This will not be a blowout, he says, but the Bulldogs will cover, and he and the Coach agree that Gonzaga is a very good value play after coming off a thrilling win vs. UCLA.
