Jonathan Coachman is joined by top betting experts Allie O' Neill, Justin Perri and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the NFL, MLB playoffs and the NHL for Monday, Oct. 11.

Allie looks ahead to the Seattle Kraken's opener on Tuesday vs. Las Vegas, and she is favoring the Kraken because the Golden Knights are dealing with significant injury issues. Seattle has also looked better during the preseason. Larry reviews what was a very bad week for the sportsbooks in the NFL.

Under heavy pressure, the Coach delivers a forward-looking SportsLine Play of the Day from Allan Bell, who highlights the Bills -3 over the Titans on Monday, Oct. 18 at 8:15 p.m. ET. He is more in favor of the Ravens -7 over the Colts for this Monday night at 8:15 p.m. ET

Justin delivers his trio of MLB playoff selections for Monday, including the Braves -111 over the Brewers at 1:07 p.m. ET. Atlanta has the edge in the pitching matchup and will be more comfortable playing at home. He recommends the Astros in the first five innings at +115 over the White Sox at 3:37 p.m. ET, as Houston simply owns lefties. Justin is also on the Dodgers in the first five innings at -0.5 over the Giants at 9:37 p.m. ET. San Francisco will be held down by Max Scherzer.

The Lightning are a clear favorite for Allie over the Penguins in their NHL season opener on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. She is taking Tampa Bay at -120, and unfurls a wealth of season opener trends that heavily back up the pick. Pittsburgh simply does not look capable of standing up to the defending champs.

Larry has a featured prop for the Monday night NFL matchup, as he recommends Carson Wentz Over 20.5 completions. "I think the biggest news coming out this week is that he had a full practice on Thursday for the first time since Week 1. If you remember, he was hurt in Week 2 against the Rams," he said. "He was playing on the sprained ankles. And I am going to look at his completion percentage because he is the dink and dunk master. He went 24 of 32 last week, and obviously they could be trailing," Larry tells us how the Baltimore defense will force Wentz into hitting and surpassing the number of completions.
