Today's picks: Top 2021 NBA Draft props, plus MLB plays for Thursday, July 29

Ameer sets us up for the 2021 NBA Draft at 8 p.m. ET from Brooklyn, as he looks at the Oklahoma City Thunder possibly trading out of the No. 6 slot. OKC has more picks than any other team overall, including three in the first round. 

Allan drops the SporstLine Play of the Day from the site models and experts. He highlights the pick of the White Sox -180 over the Royals at 2:10 p.m. ET. Mike's featured MLB play is in the same game, as he is taking both teams to go Over 9.5 runs. This will be a terrific hitting environment, and "brutal conditions" for Carlos Rodon to work in. He believes the White Sox could cover the number on their own offensively, even with some lineup tweaks for a weekday afternoon game. 

After outlining what he believes will be the first three picks in the NBA Draft, Ameer provides a quartet of prop plays, He is going with James Bouknight Over the draft slot of 6.5 based on the potential of the Thunder to make a move. "It really depends on whether they trade back, as this is a guy who was projected to go outside of the lottery a couple of weeks ago," he says. "Now everyone thinks if he doesn't go at six, he's probably going to go at eight or nine." He is seeing Ziaire Williams at Under the slot of 18.5, as the Knicks have been the only team connected to him so far and could potentially steal Williams at 19. Ameer is expecting Kai Jones to go Under 15.5. It is possible the Hornets could move back to land him. Ameer is also going with Tre Mann Over 25.5, as he could actually slip into the second round. 

Matt lays out the NBA Draft parlay of Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Evan Mobley with the first three selections at -135. In MLB, he is all in on the Yankees -130 over the Rays at 1:10 p.m. ET. It is just too tempting to not take New York with Gerrit Cole on the mound against a strikeout-prone opponent. 

Allan finishes up with his pick of the A's and Angels over nine runs at 9:38 p.m. ET, and he delivers the Jeweler's Gem for Thursday.
