Jonathan Coachman is joined by proven sports betting experts Mike McClure, Allan Bell, R.J. White and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for the NFL, college football and Europa League for Thursday, Nov. 25, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.
Allan kicks off the storylines to watch segment, noting that NFL favorites have dominated on Thanksgiving, particularly if they're playing on the road. R.J. is looking for better from the Bills coming off a poor game and now fighting for their playoff lives after looking like Super Bowl favorites a few weeks ago. Mike turns to Fantasy, highlighting the Fantasy Football DFS podcast that covers just the three-game slate where he loves D'Andre Swift. The Maestro notes A.J. Brown didn't practice on Wednesday, with the Titans-Patriots line moving all the way up to Pats -7 in some spots. The Bears-Lions game is also moving down with the news Jared Goff could play.
The Coach delivers the SportsLine Play of the Day from UEFA Europa League action. He highlights Real Sociedad-Monaco at 3:p.m. ET, backing both teams to score at -130.
Mike jumps on the first half total in Bears-Lions at 12:30 p.m. ET, taking Under 20.5 points before the break. Both teams will focus on running the football and both teams struggle in the red zone. He would even play it a point or a point and a half lower and get plus odds on an alternate total.
R.J. has three NFL picks on the spread or total today, but shares his best prop plays for the day on the show, including Khalil Herbert Under 22.5 rushing yards in the first Thanksgiving game if it's still available at your book. He then looks to the second game, taking Tony Pollard to go Over on his rushing and receiving yardage total. In the third game, he likes Zack Moss to go Under 21.5 rushing yards but also highlights two longshots to sprinkle on for the day that each pay better than +400.
Allan likes Ezekiel Elliott to go Over on his rushing prop in the Cowboys-Raiders game at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Cowboys running back just shows up for Thanksgiving games, and the Raiders are giving up the eighth-most rushing yards per attempt in the league. He then turns to college football picks on Saturday, taking Navy to cover the 12.5-point spread against Temple.
Larry shares Thanksgiving props he loves on the NFL, going Over on the receiving yardage props for Darnell Mooney and Marquise Goodwin in the first game of the day as a bit of a hedge on his other site play for the game.
