Southern Miss has played two FBS foes in its three games and totaled 24 points in them. Both QBs are a bit banged up. Jacksonville State's defense was a strength in 2023 but not so far in 2024. I think that's more the opponents faced. Offensively, Rich Rodriguez will want to run all day for JSU and chew clock. None of the models I check weekly has this getting to even 60 points. Ours has 49 being scored. I expect mid-50s.
