This game features two of the better quarterbacks in the country, and I expect it to turn into a back-and-forth shootout. Sure, Colorado has some offensive line issues, but Shedeur Sanders has been playing well despite. Both defenses in this matchup have gotten torched at various times this season, and I expect to see some of that on Friday night. Take the over.
Colorado's defense has been a big factor in helping the Buffs cover the spread in three straight games against quality teams (UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona) and Washington State's red zone offense has one of the worst conversion rates in the Pac-12. Looks like a game that could have plenty of yards but not as many points to show for it.
Neither Colorado nor Washington State have been good lately, but in most cases they have managed to stay competitive. We won't see much defense from either team and in a likely back and forth affair, I'm certainly willing to take the points. Washington State QB Cam Ward has also been reckless with the ball as of late, and while I think he'll have plenty of success tonight through the air, I expect Washinton State to lose the turnover battle.
