You might assume that, for all the slings and arrows aimed at USC after last week's game against Colorado, it lost. The Trojans did build a substantial lead before giving most of it back, but they still beat the new America's team. QB Caleb Williams is campaigning effectively for a matching Heisman Trophy to the one he acquired last year. USC has scored between 42 and 66 in its five outings, so points is no problem. It might be for Arizona, with QB Jayden de Laura doubtful with a leg injury. TB Michael Wiley (leg) is a game-time decision. Both sat last Saturday against Washington in an impressive seven-point setback, but the 'Cats scored just 24.
I auto play an Under when a total is 70. Last year that worked really well. This year not so much, which is strange with the new clock rule. Half unit because I'm essentially only playing half of the two teams here: Fading Arizona offensively without QB Jayden de Laura and RB Michael Wiley. We did win Under the Cats' high total last week sans those two vs. UDub. Also one week ago at this time, I thought Caleb Williams would be a Chicago Bear in 2024. No longer do. Hopefully he's out of there in the late 3rd quarter or so as this surely will not be close.
