ANALYSIS: It's a must-win game for both if they want to win the Big Ten East, but neither has faced a true test in 2022. Because of that, it's hard to know what to take seriously, and what to ignore. From what I have seen, I have more faith in these defenses than the offenses. Michigan has been too reliant on Blake Corum for big plays, and while Penn State's OL has improved, it hasn't faced a defensive front this good. Plus, of the last eight meetings between these two, only two have finished north of 50 points. These tend to be lower-scoring, close games.
