It's been great to see Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei get back to playing like we saw him play as a freshman; it's been a huge asset to Clemson's offense looking normal again. This game however will be won by the Tigers defense, as Boston College has struggled to run the ball and that puts a lot of strain on their passing game to be able to bail the team out, which hasn't been the case often this season. Clemson is peaking at the right time, playing some of its best ball as they dive into the teeth of conference play.
Boston College's offense centers around wide receiver Zay Flowers and, more specifically, finding him downfield. The Eagles won't be able to do that this week due to a ferocious front seven that, even without Bryan Bresee, will live in the backfield. On the other side, Clemson offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter seemed to gain a ton of confidence in quarterback DJ Uiagalelei over the last two weeks, and he'll make it three great games in a row in a matchup that, at the very least, is a three-touchdown game.
