Quarterback Charlie Brewer somehow didn't work out at Utah, but he was consistently solid while at Baylor and is a great one-year heir apparent to Malik Willis at Liberty. Southern Miss returns a decent chunk of experience from last year's three-win club and Hattiesburg is a difficult place to play, especially at night. But the Eagles will likely improve as the season wears on. In Saturday's opener, look for Liberty's up-tempo offense led by Brewer to allow the Flames to create some separation.
