Virginia is coming off an impressive 48-0 victory over Duke last week. Yet, the defense had surrendered an average of 40 points over the prior four games. Look for the Yellow Jackets to give an inspired performance off their bye week. Take Georgia Tech.

This is simply a number pick as I expect Virginia to win by 7. The Jackets have alternated wins and losses all season so they are due to lose off a rather ugly victory at Duke on Oct. 9. UVA quarterback Brennan Armstrong leads the nation in passing and the Jackets have had issues against other top quarterbacks this year, allowing 389 yards and four touchdowns to Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett and 306 yards and two TDs to UNC's Sam Howell. Tech also has just three picks, fewest in the ACC. UVA is 6-1 in its past seven as a home favorite.
