UAB has never lost at home since the program was resurrected under Bill Clark. Now it finds itself as a home dog against a Louisiana team that might have beaten Iowa State to start the year, but has looked shaky in three games since, going 2-1 with a point differential of only +2. I love home dogs on Friday night to begin with, and if that home dog also happens to have won 21 straight at home, it's even better.

UAB is a good team at home, but Louisiana-Lafayette checks all the boxes here as they have a -7 point edge in my simulations, and very strong betting signals from the market data I have access to. Lafayette beat Iowa State 31-14 at +11.5 road dogs earlier this season, and I think they pick up another road win tonight against UAB. Lay it.

The Blazers have one of the best home win streaks in college football at 21 but they face a big test in UL-Lafayette. Stepping outside their conference, look for the Cajuns to utilize their speed and talent to a higher degree. After three straight games decided by three points or fewer, look for Lafayette to play its best game since defeating Iowa State.
