BYU’s aggressive schedule has proven to be a detriment at the midseason point. Hosting a hungry and undefeated Boise State team will only continue the Cougars' woes. Grab Boise State to capitalize against a BYU team that’s shown a vulnerability at closing out games.

This line is small because the status of Broncos freshman QB Hank Bachmeier is unknown after he suffered a hip pointer vs. Hawaii. But Chase Cord and Jaylon Henderson were fine after Bachmeier went out, so the Broncos are in good hands. Cougars backup Jaren Hall suffered a concussion in the loss to USF, so they could be starting third-stringer Baylor Romney. This is a game of quarterback roulette, but I'm confident with either Bachmeier or Cord having enough success to cover a touchdown.
