There's no explanation for how the Eagles lost at home to Kansas as three-touchdown favorites last weekend. There's also little better cure for what ails you than a trip to Rutgers. That upset loss has Boston College on sale Saturday. The Knights might hang round for a while, but look for a determined BC squad to put them away.
Despite being a 20-point favorite, Boston College absorbed a 48-24 loss to Kansas last week that broke the Jayhawks' 48-game road losing streak. Even in the lopsided loss, Boston College got 151 rushing yards and a TD from AJ Dillon as part of a 228-yard team rushing effort. Rutgers only had 125 total yards in a 30-0 road loss to Iowa last week, punting 10 times and passing for just 41 yards -- the second-lowest total Iowa has allowed in 21 seasons. The Scarlet Knights can't decide on a QB, either, as starter McClane Carter was benched last week for Artur Sitowski at halftime.
