NC State has played two cupcakes and will be playing its first road game. West Virginia beat James Madison, which I make a 10-point favorite over East Carolina (9-27 straight up the last three years), NC State's opponent in Week 1. The third game in Neal Brown's offense at home should be more efficient. I think West Virginia wins the game.

I have seen enough of the West Virginia offense to know that it needs a lot of work. I have not seen enough of NC State in two cupcake wins to be willing to trust it as a road favorite here. Instead, I'll just rely on that putrid Mountaineers offense to struggle, and take the Under.
