The Eagles have had the upper hand in this rivalry of late, and won 31-21 at Virginia Tech last year. They return a solid QB-RB combo in Anthony Brown and AJ Dillon and are usually stout on the defensive side. Taking the points appears to be the clear value position in this one.

This game will come down to whether or not Virginia Tech has improved defensively against the run. Because we know exactly what Boston College will try to do in this game. It'll be a heavy dose of A.J. Dillon. The silver lining for the Hokies is that they are facing a Boston College defense that has to replace eight starters, including three up front. I like the Hokies' chances in this one, at this particular juncture of the season.
