We're missing the best of a number that opened at +6, but the value should still be with the underdog Saturday. The Tigers return a wealth of offensive weapons, led by quarterback Brady White. He is joined by a running back and receiver who each gained more than 1,000 yards last season. So it's understandable that Memphis is the favorite, but it has historically performed poorly when stepping up in weight class. Ole Miss is starting a freshman at quarterback, but returns a lot of experience on defense. No surprise if the Rebels win outright.

I understand why this total is where it's at, but even so, I still think it's too low. These are two teams who have shown an ability to score a lot of points and allow a lot of points in recent seasons, and I expect that trend will continue on Saturday.
